Services

Arranging The Funeral

We operate a 24-hours a day, 365 days a year personal service. If the deceased died at home, a hospice or nursing home, they will be conveyed into our care at our private chapel of rest.

At a time to suit you, the funeral director will either see you in your home, or at our funeral home to
discuss all of the options available in order to fulfil your personal needs and requirements for the funeral arrangements.

We will take care, on your behalf all of the necessary paperwork, liaise with doctors, hospitals, ministers & caterers etc.

Vehicles

A hearse is provided to convey the deceased to the funeral as a part of our service, however chauffeur driven limousines which can carry seven passengers are available if required. Alternative vehicles can also be provided, upon discussion with the Funeral Director, such as a horse drawn or motorcycle hearse. The cortege can be a route of your choice or drive past a particular building, for example a previous home address or place of work.

Staff and Pall Bearers

Every Funeral will have a Funeral Director to ensure the funeral service runs as smoothly as possible. We provide staff and bearers if needed and families can also bear if they wish to do so.

Chapel of Rest

Family members often request to see their loved one and pay their last respects in private. Viewing in our chapels of rest is via appointment and you are welcome to spend as much time as you need.

Floral Tributes

We are able to assist with any floral tributes, our in house florist will be able to assist in any requests you may have.

Flowers may be sent to our funeral home on the day of the funeral to accompany the hearse. Afterwards at your request, suitable flowers can be taken to a local nursing home, residential home or family grave.

Please click our Flower Brochure for more information.

Charitable Donations

Sometimes in lieu of flowers, families choose to donate money to a selected charitable organisation. We will collect, if requested, donations for the charity of your choice and can either forward them on your behalf or return them to yourself.

At the time of making funeral arrangements, it is not easy to realise the emotional benefit which can be gained by having somewhere to go, a place that you and your family can go back to, allowing you to pay your respects to your loved one.
It has been acknowledged that this can help with the healing process after the funeral.
The Funeral Director will help in arranging an interment, scattering or other request (such as Ashes into Glass jewellery, either as soon as possible, or after a period of consideration.
